When travelling to the practice is difficult, physiotherapy can be arranged at home. Visits are by appointment, with the location, availability and your needs agreed in advance.
This service is for people who have difficulty travelling or need treatment in their home environment. It can be requested, for example, during recovery after surgery or to work on mobility and independence. When you get in touch, we discuss how to organise the visit.
We start with your situation, goals and any medical guidance. Assessment helps select activities and plan their progression. Depending on your needs, treatment may include exercises, walking, getting up from a chair and other movements that are useful in daily life.
Activities take account of your space and abilities. The aim is to develop clear, manageable activities for everyday life. When useful and with your agreement, a family member or carer can be involved so that they understand the guidance for your programme.
With your consent, physiotherapy can be coordinated with your doctor and other professionals involved in your care. This helps share treatment goals and practical information relevant to your support.
